One big aim is to become 100% carbon neutral - researched, planned and built by our tribe, for absolutely everyone and anybody to enjoy.

To do this we need to invest time, expertise and energy and we'd love you to play a part in it.

Probably the most ambitious part of the plan is to install a micro hydro generator - we have the stream, but can we squeeze enough water pressure out of it?

With unpredictable weather we have experienced a huge strain on our bore hole too, so like many we need to work on our water resilience plan. Armed with a sustainability strategy, this is where volunteers can get involved, stay on site and lend their shoulder to the wheel. Get in touch and we'll add you to the Volunteer mailing list.

Another huge part of our aspiration is to turn up the dial on our craft-based offer. In February we had a new day course Wild Ink - Drawing in Nature and it went so well we've got another one booked in later in the year. We'll soon be adding green woodworking skill workshops too.

Remember you can add all our activities to your adventures. In 2 hours you can split your own logs, carve your own spatula, bake and wax it and be using it to stir your wild venison or veggie stew over the fire that night.
